I grew up at the foot of the real Terrace Hill in a small college town on the California coast during the 1960s and '70s. Times were less complicated then…and a lot less flashy. I’ve been in love with sewing ever since Miss Miller taught me "the art of the perfect dart" in 8th grade. My favorite part of the creative process has to be playing with fabric. Walking into a fabric store always makes me swoon. Fabric swatches are like paint splashing across the canvas of my imagination. Nudging busy gals back to simpler times with bits of cloth and handmade goodness has become a happy endeavor for me.
